Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 1.40% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which rose 5.04% or 735.00 points to trade at 15,320.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:) added 4.91% or 4.28 points to end at 91.40 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) was up 4.46% or 630.00 points to 14,750.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:), which fell 3.12% or 12.30 points to trade at 382.10 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:) declined 2.10% or 17.00 points to end at 792.00 and Genmab (CSE:) was down 0.98% or 29.00 points to 2,935.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 104 to 44 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.71% or 0.66 to $93.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.52% or 0.51 to hit $99.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 4.85 to trade at $1,681.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.47% to 7.44, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 110.24.
