Ice-cream made with bananas = ‘nice-cream’. Is there anything bananas can’t do? I added our new JSHealth Pure Matcha+ for that green tea flavour and antioxidant hit.
This is the perfect cooling, nourishing, sweet treat as the weather heats up in Australia!

- 3 cups (400g) frozen bananas
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- ½ cup coconut cream
- 2 tbsp finely chopped mint leaves
- 2 serves JSHealth Pure Matcha+
- 50g (1.7oz) dark chocolate, grated
Combine all of the ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until smooth. You may need to scrape down the sides and few times to ensure the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Pour the nice-cream into a lined loaf tin. Use a spatula to spread the mixture until smooth and flat.
Freeze for 2-3 hours or until set.
Serve in your favourite ice-cream cone or bowl and top with grated chocolate.
